Taking a day off from movie reviews, inspiration struck me in a meme sort of way. I really wanted to do an alphabet related movie meme or 30 day challenge, but finding one was more than a challenge I thought it would be. In free moments here and there, I created this meme which I hope everyone enjoys. As all alphabet memes go, each letter is a theme or question to answer about your love of movies. Two young kids in their motor boat voyage out to an abandoned island on the Mississippi River. Thinking it'll be a day of wandering exploration, it's quite a welcoming surprise to Ellis (one of the two boys) when they meet a lean dirty straggler. He has a few cracked teeth, been living in a dilapidated boat, and owns nothing but the shirt on his back and a glock. His name is Mud. The mysterious presence around him is what makes us itching to know more about why he is a lone wolf on deserted land. After persistent probing, when Mud finally unveils a passionate confession about murdering a man who had beaten up the woman he loves, Juniper, the intrigue doesn't dissipate. Played by Matthew McConaughey, he pours out the truth with such heartache, you can't help but take him at his word. But we hear different perspectives of who Mud is. May 16th 2013 is the day we all say goodbye to our friends at The Office , but we never have to say goodbye to the memories. After hitting my favorite episodes of the nine-year running sitcom, my brain started drilling up other moments of awkward brilliance I couldn't pass up. There's no doubt there are plenty more that could have been picked , and they'll never be forgotten either. Here are some more of my favorite moments. For nine years The Office has graced Thursday nights on NBC. The show has had its hilarious moments, crazy relationships, and your usual office chaos like dysfunctional Christmas parties, fake fires, and conference room meetings about dementors from Harry Potter. Watching the show practically since the beginning, it's hard for me to realize that we'll be saying goodbye. Though the show had its ups and downs in terms of good or all right episodes, watching hell break loose at the Scranton branch has sadly come to its fond farewell too soon. Just the other day I remember watching my first episode of Casino Night and being instantly hooked by the absurdity of this complete obtuse boss Michael Scott and his lesser delusional co-workers who encircle an entire sphere of idiosyncrasies.
