2nd Annual Merry Fictional Challenge

The holiday season is here! And, I thought I would pep this place up a bit with a little Christmas cheer from a holiday blog challenge I created last year. Get the list of questions at this post. If you'd like to join in, feel free to comment with a link to your blog in this post below or tweet me! I'd love to see your answers!

Advent Calendar: What traditions do you celebrate? Are you starting any new ones?
My family likes to go out and look at Christmas lights a lot. That's about as special as it gets besides decorating the house and just enjoying time with each other...But I always cart my butt in front of the television to watch the A Christmas Story marathon. Nothing gets in between me and that movie.

Carols: What's your favorite song(s)?
I've always loved vintage music from the 1940s and 1950s, so I'm listening to a lot of different mixes this year thanks to youtube!

Coal: A naughty character you'd send coal to?
Eugene from The Walking Dead. But I wouldn't send him coal though. Maybe I'd send poisoned wine or a hoard of walkers his way. #traitor

Fireplace: Favorite holiday or Christmas movie that melts your heart?
I think last year I chose It's A Wonderful Life, and it's definitely still one of my favorites. But I can't go one Christmas without watching Bridget Jones's Diary. Even if I know that movie forwards and backwards.

Gingerbread: What's your favorite holiday snack?
I'm obsessed with Andes mints this year. The deep chocolate is wonderfully balanced out with cool mint. I'm desperately trying not to eat thirty every day.

Lights: Which character has had the brightest or most positive impact for you this year?
WONDER WOMAAAAAANNNN.

Hot Cocoa: What's your favorite drink to keep you warm?
Peppermint Mocha at Starbucks is my favorite one for the season. I'm a coffee addict to the inth degree, but I've had to add tea to my diet and it's starting to win my heart over too.
Mistletoe: Character you'd like to meet under the mistletoe?
The answer is always going to be Steve Rogers, but PLEASE DEAR GOD RYAN GOSLING. I can give you a 1000 reasons why. But I'll take Sebastian from La La Land or Agent K from Blade Runner 2049.

Mittens: A cozy outfit that keeps you warm during winter?
I really love Ugly Christmas Sweaters, but pretty surprised I don't have many in my closet. #2018goals

Naughty: Three characters who'd make the Naughty list.
Gaston from Beauty and the Beast, Daryl from The Walking Dead, and Billy from Stranger Things.

Nice: Three characters who'd make the Nice list.
Frank Castle from The Punisher, BB-8 from The Last Jedi, and Will from Stranger Things.

North Pole: If you could spend Christmas anywhere this year, where would you go?
Usually, my first pick is always Hogwarts, however, this year, I want to go to the Prince's castle in Beauty and the Beast live-action version. The garden, the ballroom, and the library is absolutely gorgeous.

Presents: A book or movie on your wishlist?
Wonder Woman, which I already know that my family has already bought. XD

Rudolph: What's your favorite TV holiday special?
I really love Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas (on Netflix - watch it while you can!). It's just super sweet and cute set of stories with the classic Disney characters trying to make the best out of Christmas. My favorite is Mickey and Minnie trying to get each other presents, but things go awry and their gift-giving doesn't go exactly as planned.

Santa: A character you'd love to exchange presents with? What would you get them?
Nancy from Stranger Things. I feel like I would get her a set of books that would encourage her to get out of that love triangle between Steve and Jonathan. #nancydeservesbetter #shedeservesbarb

Scrooge: A villain you'd help see life in a different way?
Well, she's definitely not a villain but I would help Eleven see that Max isn't a horrible person or deserves to be ignored. Like just because they're both hanging out with the boys doesn't mean they can't be friends. So maybe the writers of Stranger Things?

Snowflake: A special fandom or movie moment that made 2017 awesome.
Everything Ryan Gosling did from La La Land to Blade Runner 2049, and cracking up Saturday Night Live. Ryan Gosling just for existing and sharing his unicorn presence with the world.

Tree: What do you decorate your house with for the season?
I've been making a lot of pom-poms this year, so I've got red and white ones like candy-cane inspired and I'm currently working on a snowman.

Yuletide: The top 3 fandoms that made you happy this year?
I didn't do a very good job tracking all of my fandoms this year, so these were on the top of my head. The Punisher, Luke Cage, and the new Beauty and the Beast movie. (And, Wonder Woman)
