The Walking Dead Season 7 Trailer Reaction

The Walking Dead Season 7 Premiere Trailer
The Walking Dead's season six left us on a massive cliffhanger - one that fans were either intensely disappointed by or just okay with. (Was anyone excited about the season finale...I can't remember...)

Anywho, we already know the identity of Lucille's victim is still left up in the air. AMC has kept the suspense going by premiering the season seven trailer at San Diego Comic Con!

If you haven't seen it yet, it's probably a good idea before going forward. This post contains spoilers not only of the trailer, but also predictions about character deaths including the Lucille victims. You've been warned!

15 Epic Quotes from The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead Best Quotes
There's so many things I love about The Walking Dead, it was a challenge to find the best place to talking about my favorite things. For one, there are some pretty awesome quotes - some are thought-provoking, funny, or cap off a highly emotional moment.

The more I dug around each season, a ton more memorable lines popped up and were very difficult to exclude (I'm looking at you Abraham, Glenn, and Dale!). This list could've gone on forever! You might notice that one character is missing from this list, and that's Rick Grimes. There is really too many to choose from or narrow it down, so he is going to get his very own list.

I hope you enjoy this week's Walking Dead Wednesday! Feel free to share in the comments: What are your favorite quotes?

I survived writing these every week. This is my first time completing a full season of recaps. Congratulations all around! There's no going back now. In the same way that Oprah loves bread. NEGAN. IS. HERE.

Below includes spoilers of the series so far. You've been warned but hope you enjoy!

We're back at home in Alexandria, but there's really nothing to do but try to settle in. Feeling safe behind the walls makes Team Family antsy. A war coming their way is not enough. So let's go further, beyond the walls, twice as far as we've ever gone before just to survive. Below includes spoilers of the series so far. You've been warned but hope you enjoy!

Good guys or bad guys, walking dead or alive - we're all in the same boat. Below includes spoilers of the series so far. You've been warned but hope you enjoy!

The Walking Dead is inching its way towards the sixth season finale. We're going come hell and high water - more specifically coming face to face with Negan and his compound. Desperate to make a deal to kill the cult leader in exchange for food, Rick and Alexandria lead a mission against their newest enemies.

My thoughts are behind the cut. Warning that gifs in this post contain a graphic nature and spoilers.

It brought to life fan's long awaiting ship of Rick and Michonne, and made the return of ~sassy Daryl~. A new threat by the name of Jesus is on Alexandria's territory now in Knot's Untie. Below includes spoilers of the series so far. You've been warned but hope you enjoy!

Last week of The Walking Dead took us on an unforgettable ride as Rick and his family squared off against walkers treading into Alexandria. They lost some valuable members and Carl suffered a tremendous injury. A major reprieve is on the horizon for everyone reading - this is fairly one of the most light-hearted episodes in a long time. Perhaps for the history of the show? Below includes spoilers of the series so far. You've been warned but hope you enjoy!

The Walking Dead - S6X09 No Way Out

The Walking Dead No Way Out recap
Photo Credit: The Walking Dead / Gene Page
The previous mid-season finale of The Walking Dead left us with Deanna's death and our group's safety hanging in the balance. A hoard of zombies broke through one of the community's shattered walls. We had subtle and not-so-subtle ideas about where the returning episode would tread. I don't think anyone expected for No Way Out to be regarded as one of the best episodes in a longtime, as well as one that is best for the series. An action-packed premiere left us wanting so much more! Beware of spoilers - if you haven't seen this yet!

The Walking Dead S6x04 Here's Not Here

Photo Credit: The Walking Dead / Gene Page
The sixth season of The Walking Dead has shot off like a rocket or a rollercoaster. I don't know which is a more accurate description. Last week's episode Thank You threw everyone for a loop. For nearly a week fans and pop culture blogs theorized over one core character's fate while we were left with one of the show's biggest cliffhangers. If there is one thing that showrunners are succeeding with so far, it's making major departures from the expected.

This week's newest episode Here's Not Here was no exception. Parting from the freight train of feels we were experiencing, more sides of fan favorite Morgan James finally came to light.

The Walking Dead S6x03 Thank You

Photo Credit: The Walking Dead / Gene Page
Last weeks Just Survive Somehow (JSS) took on an even deeper message with this week's Thank You. What was a mantra for Enid has now taken on a new effect for the whole series and the fandom community.

The aftermath of the zombie hoard setting out for Alexandria continues to be answered. We witnessed how a narrow margin the civilians from the safe zone survived from the Wolves last week, but what would be Rick's plan to deter the walkers from the town's walls? What would his and the others reaction be to the atrocious violence that took place while they were gone? We find out!

The Walking Dead S6x02 JSS

Photo Credit: The Walking Dead / Gene Page
The premiere episode of The Walking Dead left us in turmoil as thousands of walkers wandered towards Alexandria. As the final moments of First Time Again faded to black, an unknown culprit blaring a truck horn instigated a domino effect to Rick's plan of directing those walkers out of a massive quarry.

For only the second episode of the newest season, JSS may be at the top of the pack of favorite episodes. When the producers and writers declared that this sixth season was bigger and better, they weren't kidding! It left us catching our breath after nearly an hour of action-packed gore and subtle character conflicts.

The Walking Dead S6x1 First Time Again

In the fifth season finale of The Walking Dead, its concluding moments left us in an epic wake of confrontations. Rick, drenched in walker guts, gave an impassioned speech to the community's members and its skeptic leader Deanna. He declared that they needed to learn how to protect themselves from walkers, asking how many of you would I have to kill to save you? Pete, an alcoholic husband Rick had a previous violent brawl with, interrupted his rally cry and slashed Reg's (Deanna's husband) throat with a sword. Soaked in her husbands' blood, Deanna delivered a swift kill-order. Without the hestitation or moral conscious Rick used to exude, he executed Pete. Just in time one of the show's favorite characters and mysterious madmen Morgan walked in to witness it.

10 Favorite Songs From The Walking Dead

One of the things I love most about The Walking Dead is the music. Originally composed scores by Bear McCreary, and songs by musicians like Sharon Von Etten, compliment some of the most gruesome scenes.  With intensity and pure suspense, his scores let us know when dangerous enemies are ready to attack, anti-heroes are holding onto their sanity, and the group is facing adversities ahead.

Sometimes it's difficult to listen to the songs on their own and not think of some of the more painful instances we lost a beloved character or an obstacle changed the course for the group's survival. The music itself is a character of the show, and I thought it was time to highlight ten of my favorite songs from The Walking Dead. (Spoilers ahead)
