The Falcon And The Winter Soldier (2021)

The last time we saw Sam Wilson in Avengers: Endgame, his story had shifted monumentally. After Thanos was defeated, Steve Rogers returned the Infinity Stones to their timelines. He also returned in his 100s, having been happily married to his long lost love for decades, to pass the Shield to Wilson. While Bucky Barnes had worked on his trauma as The Winter Soldier, he could continue starting over. Not much else was known about their future except that they were meant to work, fight, and annoy each other to our delight in their own Disney+ series.

But one question stuck in the back of mind - What happens when you already know the endgame?

Spoilers for the Marvel Cinematic Universe including Agent Carter, the general Marvel Cinematic Universe, and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier are below. I'm sorry it's another long-ass post. This is just another example of my writing meltdown. Skip to the 'Basically' part at the end if you want. Otherwise, *Cap salute*.

Everything I Love About Sam Wilson (Part 2)

We're only a few days away from The Falon and The Winter Soldier premiering on Disney+. Now seemed like the best time to also drop part two of my brief eseries Everything I Love About Sam Wilson as part of my series  celebrating Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Right now, I plan on limiting this continuation to the movies, knowing once the show starts I may fall behind keeping up - though time will tell. Here's brief run-through in Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. Hope you enjoy!

Everything I Love About Sam Wilson (Part 1)

In 2019, Avengers: Endgame culminated with the end to Steve Rogers's run as Captain America, leaving a new star spangled man with a plan to take over his reign. After returning the Infinity Stones to their rightful timelines, Rogers came back to pass down the shield to his good friend and comrade Sam Wilson, also known as The Falcon.

Though it remains to be seen whether or not Wilson will become the next Captain America in his and Bucky Barnes' new series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, I thought it'd be fun to continue the tradition that I had started with celebrating Chris Evan as Captain America throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I plan on limiting this continuation to the movies, knowing once the show starts I may fall behind keeping up - though time will tell.

Part 1 is dedicated to Captain America and The Winter Soldier, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Ant-Man. Hope you enjoy!

Everything I Love About Captain America in Avengers: Endgame (Part 2)

After breaking down the Captain America and The Avengers films, we're finally reaching the end of my series, which has been an ongoing tribute to Steve Rogers and his arc throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Today, I'm picking up with part two from covering Avengers: Endgame.

It's hard to believe that we're coming to the end of his series. I hope enjoy! (This post is picture-heavy. Credit can be found by clicking on the images.)

Everything I Love About Captain America in Avengers: Endgame (Part 1)

After breaking down the Captain America and The Avengers films, we're finally reaching the end of my series, which has been an ongoing tribute to Steve Rogers and his arc throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos did exactly what he was going to do: wipe out half of the galaxy. Now the Avengers are left to pick up the pieces after losing everyone they loved. Steve Rogers and and the team reunite one last time to track down Thanos and the Infinity Stones to bring everyone back.

The only way I could feel it would be right to finish the franchise is to go out with a bang. Because Avengers: Endgame itself is such a massive finale to culminate the past twelve years of Marvel, this post will be split into two parts. I hope you sit back and relax 3000 as we track Cap into the future and stroll down memory lane. (This post is very picture-heavy. Credit can be found by clicking on the images.) Spoilers to the entire MCU is ahead.
